The Act or Art of Being Organized!!

I love to be organized! I enjoy knowing that everything has a place and then knowing that everything is in it's place! God is a God of organization. He created a very orderly world in 6 days!
Genesis 1:11-12
"And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.
And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good."

I had a party at my house tonight from the company of Thirty-One. It is a company a woman started in her basement because she was a mother that was wearing many hats and wanted to be a good wife and mother and still be able to stay at home.
Proverbs 31:11-30
"Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.
The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.
She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.
She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.
She is like the merchants' ships; she bringeth her food from afar.
She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens.
She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard.
She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms.
She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night.
She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff.
She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy.
She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet.
She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple.
Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land.
She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant.
Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.
She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.
She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.
Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.
Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.
Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised.
Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates."

The company specialize in different type of containers for organization. There are thermal totes and wallets and purses and cinch totes and organization tote and jewelry rolls and lots of other fun type of bags!

It's fun to look at all of the bags and even to have some of them but they aren't any good if you don't use them!! They are useless and will just take up space if you buy one and then just let it sit empty on a shelf.  This is how it can be in our lives. As we live one day at a time there can be clutter when we allow ourselves to say yes to everything and not filter out what isn't important to us or what we may not be able to realistically do well.  Or if you are not using the gifts that God has given you-just letting them "sit on the shelf" then they are useless and in essence we are telling God that we don't like how He made us or what gifts He gave us to use. We have all been given different gifts and there are some aspects that we may not excel in. We should be willing to let others that God has blessed with those gift handle those things so that it will be done in a fashion so that those involved can receive a blessing and God can use it to minister to others. Another thing to think about it that there also may be events or projects that we could lend advice or help but it would mean that we would have to sacrifice time with God or family or church. We need to be sure that our priorities are what they should be and then if you are able to help and you feel comfortable doing so accept otherwise be wise enough to gently say NO! It will help you have the time to be organized in your own home and family.
Joshua 22:5
"But take diligent heed to do the commandment and the law, which Moses the servant of the LORD charged you, to love the LORD your God, and to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and to cleave unto him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul."
We all wear many hats and are given different responsibilities. Our goal should be do our best in the all that we believe that God has blessed us with in what we choose to do.
Colossians 3:17
"And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him."
(And if you can be organized while you are doing it-then-BONUS!!!) If you want any help I would be glad to help out!! I love to organize and declutter!!
