Storm Clouds

This was my view as I drove home from work today. It is amazing how you can literally watch the storm clouds roll in and start their "show". It was accompanied by thunder and then came the rain.

Sometimes you can see the storm clouds come rolling in on your life as you are living one day at a time and you aren't sure what to do about it. I am so thankful that I know the Creator behind those storm clouds and that He is in control and is my refuge during those storms of life if I only turn to Him.

Isaiah 25:4  

"For thou hast been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm"

He is all powerful and always in control!

Mark 4:39

"And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm."

There is such reassurance that when we are in our Lord's hands then we are safe.

John 10:29  

"My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand."

So, 'bring on the storm' and rest in the knowledge that God is greater than any storm and He may calm the storm or He may just calm you as your go through the storm.
