This week is Vacation Bible School at our church and I have the privilege of running the program. I have an entire team of people who have willingly been serving and teaching to a group of children! We are in "Incrediworld" and learning about the 6 days of creation!
We have had fun singing, playing games,
completing crafts,
eating snacks, and enjoying bible time!
It has been a 3 fun days so far and has shown me again that first:
You can teach children all the way from age 2 and they can sit and listen and learn one day at a time. There were 7 today that said their verse to me who were only 3.
second: learning about the Bible can be fun! We have had a blast learning about all the things that God has created, including a lot of extreme bugs and animals!
Genesis 1:1
"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth."
It's also great that there are programs like Answers in Genesis that teach truth-the Bible-and tell the truth about how the World came about-God created it by speaking it into being in only 6 days-not million of years!
Colossians 3:16
"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord."
My prayer is that each of the children that have come this week will remember what they have been taught and that each of them will accept Christ as their Savior if they haven't already done so.
