Today has been a good day! It was a wonderful Resurrection Sunday! We started the day with a Son-rise service at 7am and saw a beautiful sunrise. We then had a wonderful Sunday school class with our college and career class-they are a great group and we love them all. We finished the morning with a great service-J.W. sang in his quartet and even had a small solo and did a superb job!
We came home and had a late lunch of ham and slaw and rolls. We relaxed for the rest of the afternoon.
I then went to a neighbor church to enjoy their drama/cantata "How Great Thou Art!" It was done very well and had a powerful message of the ministry of Christ as well as portraying His crucifixion, burial and resurrection. What was even more exciting was to hear of the 5 salvation decisions that were made as well as a couple of other type of decisions that were made.
I had a few friends that participated in it and I enjoyed watching them.
Chloe was a little girl that Christ raised from the dead
The choir participated as the townspeople at the beginning.
The presentation took one day at a time and you saw the dinner with the disciples, the betrayal, the trial, the crucifixion, burial, and resurrection.
"Then sings my soul, my Savior God to thee, How Great Thou Art, How Great Thou Art!"
I'm so thankful that I serve a Risen Savior!
